Nathaniel Stecklow
Nathaniel Stecklow, 92, of Livingston died May 10, 2019. Born in Brooklyn, he moved to West Orange in 1963 and later resided in Cedar Grove and Livingston.
A chemical and food scientist, Mr. Stecklow worked many years at S.B. Penick & Co. and Griffith Laboratories.
He served in the U.S. Army beginning in December 1944, before the Army sent him to study civil engineering at Virginia Polytechnic Institute. He was honorably discharged in July 1946.
Mr. Stecklow graduated from City College of New York, where he earned an undergraduate degree in chemistry, and Rutgers University in Newark, where he received a Master of Business Administration.
Predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Doris L., in 2015, he is survived by his daughter, Stacey Rauch of Short Hills; his son, Steve of London; and three grandsons.
Services were held May 13 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
