Nathan Steinbook
Nathan Steinbook, 96, of Toms River died July 4, 2014. Born in Chicago, he was a former resident of New York City and Coconut Creek, Fla.
Mr. Steinbook owned and operated barber shops in the transit system of New York City before retiring.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Predeceased by his wife, Helen, and his daughter, Linda Grossman, he is survived by his son, Melvin (Susan Avny); four grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Ted Grossman.
Services were held July 9 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
