Nathan Ehrlich

Nathan Ehrlich, 91, of Morristown died Aug. 27, 2015. He lived in Washington, DC, before moving to Morristown 59 years ago.

Mr. Ehrlich worked at Bell Labs in Whippany from 1949 to 1987.

He received a BS in electrical engineering from Cornell University in 1949.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, 1942-1945, with a final rank of first lieutenant.

He was a member of Morristown Jewish Center Beit Yisrael from 1951 to 1981 and served as its president, 1970-1972. He was a founding member of Congregation Ahavath Yisrael in Morristown and a cofounder of Hebrew Academy of Morris County.

He is survived by two daughters, Anne Nusbaum of Sunderland, Mass., and Devorah Rich of Oak Park, Mich.; two sons, Alan of Westborough, Mass., and David of Springfield; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held Aug. 28 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Braille Institute.
