Naomi Moss

Naomi Moss (Walensky), 89, of Lone Tree, Colo., died April 14, 2019. Born in Glen Ridge, she lived most of her life in Montclair and Verona before moving to Colorado in 2010.

Mrs. Moss worked for a number of years assisting with the administration of her husband’s medical practice.

She graduated from Glen Ridge High School in 1947 and in 1951 received her bachelor of arts degree from University of Wisconsin.

She had a passion for education, reading, and the arts, including opera. She and her husband regularly attended Metropolitan Opera simulcast performances and live opera in Central City, Colo.

Throughout her life, she was a supporter and contributor to a number of Jewish charities.

Predeceased by her husband, Ervin, on March 16, just four days before what would have been their 68th wedding anniversary, she is survived by her son, Lloyd; two daughters, Joan Moss and Linda Weintraub (Moss); and five grandchildren.

A private celebration of life will be held for immediate family members. Memorial contributions may be made to Hadassah.
