Naomi Lipp Kanengiser, 90, of Maplewood died March 21, 2014. Born in Queens, she lived many years in Lake Hiawatha and Convent Station before moving to Maplewood seven years ago.
Mrs. Kanengiser was a speech pathologist and audiologist.
She graduated from Pennsylvania State University and earned a master’s degree from Seton Hall University.
She survived tuberculosis as a young woman and was a prize-winning baker.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Irwin; two daughters, Lisa (Larry) Ginsberg and Amy; her son, Steven (Kelley Holland); and five grandchildren.
