Myron Woller
Myron “Mike” K. Woller, 98, of Tinton Falls died Sept. 8, 2018. Born in Newark, he lived in Long Branch for most of his life before recently moving to Tinton Falls.
Mr. Woller was manager of Newark Airport, retiring nearly 35 years ago from the Port Authority of New York/New Jersey.
He served as a pilot during World War II, flying out of Duxford airbase in Cambridge, England.
He was an advocate of environmental stewardship and supported organizations such as Greenpeace.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, June; his daughter, Joanne (Bill); three sons, Jeffrey (Jodi), Richard (Nancy), and Alan (Terri); nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 12 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean.
