Myron T. Noar

Myron T. Noar, 79, of Baltimore died Feb. 14, 2011. Born in Worcester, Mass., he resided in East Brunswick before moving to Baltimore 10 years ago.

Prior to retiring in 1989, Mr. Noar was the director of creative services for Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, where he worked for 26 years.

He was a member of the National Association of Science Writers and the American Medical Writers Association. He was a former member of the East Brunswick Jewish Center.

Predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Phyllis, in 1999, he is survived by two sons, Mark of Owings Mills, Md., and Scott of Cherry Hill; his daughter, Jill Noar of Doylestown, Pa.; a brother, Bernard of Boynton Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Harriet Gruber and Toby Richmond, both of Worcester, Mass.; and seven grandchildren.

Services were held Feb. 20 with arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Grounds for Sculpture, Hamilton.
