Murray Pato

Murray J. Pato, 88, of Boynton Beach, Fla., died June 29, 2018. Born and raised in the Bronx, where he and his wife started their family, he later relocated to Livingston before moving to Roseland and then Boynton Beach.

Mr. Pato was an owner of Pato’s Family Bakery, Bronx, and Denburg’s Bread and Roll Factory in Newark until 1970. He was later employed by the N.Y. State Dept. of Law Attorney General’s Office, until he retired at age 66.

He was a Korean War veteran.

Predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Eleanor, he is survived by two daughters, Robin Davis of Roseland and Nancy (Ronald) Goldberg of Warren; his son, Steven (partner Greg Plumblee) of Los Angeles; and three grandchildren.

Services were held July 2 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association of New Jersey or North Star Foundation.
