Muriel Seransky
Muriel Seransky, 80, of Monroe Township died Feb. 27, 2011. She was born in Perth Amboy, where she resided until 1977, and then moved to Edison. In 1999, she and her late husband Herbert retired to Monroe.
Mrs. Seransky, a licensed realtor, co-owned South Amboy Auto Parts with her husband, where she also worked as the bookkeeper.
She was a member of Congregation Shaarey Tefiloh of Perth Amboy and Adath Israel in Woodbridge. She was also an active member of both Hadassah and ORT and was involved in many Jewish charities, fund-raisers, and events.
Predeceased by her husband in 2002, she is survived by two daughters, Sivi Turkish of Marlboro and Joy Abrams of Union Beach; her son, Roy of Palm Beach, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
Services were held March 1 with arrangements by Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Edison.
