Morris Mann
Morris “Morrie” Louis Mann, 66, of Plainsboro died March 13, 2016. He was a lifelong resident of Trenton.
Mr. Mann was the owner-operator of Mannco Steel, a family business, in Trenton. He began as an apprentice and eventually worked his way up to partner and eventually became the sole owner.
He attended Trenton public schools and played West End Little League baseball on the Stevenson Sunoco Team. He was chosen as a starter on the 1961 All Star team. He attended Newtown Friends School and graduated from The George School, where he lettered in football, baseball, basketball, and track. He graduated from Temple University with a bachelor of arts in 1971.
He served in the New Jersey National Guard.
Predeceased by his parents, Erwin and Ethel Mann, he is survived by a brother, Steven Mann; a sister, Shelley Mann; and two nephews, Jeremy and David Mann.
Services were held March 15 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing.
