Morris “Murray” L. Kotler, 94, of Marlboro died April 10, 2016. Born in Poland, he was raised in New York City and later lived in the Bronx and New Rochelle, NY, before moving to Marlboro in 1989.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Kotler was an insurance agent and manager with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Brooklyn College.
He was a veteran who served with the U.S. Armed Forces in Italy during World War II. He achieved the rank of corporal.
Predeceased by his wife of over 65 years, Pearl W., he is survived by his son, Stephen; his daughter, Wendy (Steven) Herzberg of Scotch Plains; a sister, Betty Rosenfeld; and two grandchildren.
Services were held April 11 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan.
