Morris Constantin
Morris Constantin, 92, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., died Jan. 15, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, he resided in Newark, Maplewood, South Orange, and West End before moving to Florida in 2007.
Mr. Constantin was a restaurateur, owning Stanley’s Restaurant in Springfield and Tarantella’s and the Penny Arcade, both in Clark.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a member of Azure Masada Lodge No. 22 and Congregation Beth El in South Orange.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Teresa (Friedman); two daughters, Doris Schwartz of Cedar Grove and Eileen Sherman of Springfield; two sons, Stanley of Pennsylvania and Alan of Clark; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 18 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or Alzheimer’s Association.
