Moe Wineberg

Moe Wineberg, 90, of Highland Park died March 8, 2014. Born in Poland, he immigrated to Montreal in 1931 and moved to New York in 1950 before moving to Colonia in 1956.

Mr. Wineberg was a garment cutter for many years before retiring in 1994.

He served in the Canadian Army during World War II.

He was one of the founding members of Temple Beth Am, remaining a member of the twice-merged congregation, which became Congregation Neve Shalom in Metuchen, until his death. He was also an Associate member of the Raritan Valley chapter of Hadassah.

Predeceased by his wives, Ruth Blinder Wineberg and Pauline Horowitz Wineberg, he is survived by two sons, Larry and Howard, and his longtime companion, Marcia Horn of Highland Park.

Services were held March 11 at Neve Shalom with arrangements by Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Edison.
