Mitchell Perlmeter

Mitchell Perlmeter, 17, of Montclair died Feb. 1, 2011.

Mr. Perlmeter was a student at Montclair High School.

He spent many summers at the Union for Reform Judaism’s Camp Harlam in Pennsylvania, where he was a CIT last summer and was to have been a counselor this summer.

He is survived by his parents, Rabbis Rex Perlmeter and Rachel Hertzman; two sisters, Jacqueline and Sarah; his brother, Nathaniel; and his grandparents, Stanley and Ronnie Perlmeter and James Hertzman.

Services were held Feb. 3 at Temple Ner Tamid, Bloomfield, with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels of Cedar Grove.
