Miriam Winograd

Miriam L. Winograd, 89, of Somerset died June 23, 2012. Born in Manhattan, she resided in Woodbridge for 60 years before moving to Somerset three years ago.

After a career as a full-time mother, Mrs. Winograd worked for 23 years as an executive secretary for Beth Israel Cemetery Association, Woodbridge.

She was a member of Congregations Adath Israel (Woodbridge) and Neve Shalom (Metuchen). She was also a life member of Hadassah.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Abraham; her son, David of Ellenville, NY; her daughter, Karen Winograd of Matawan; and five grandchildren.

Services were held June 25 with arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Hadassah, attn: Development Division, 50 West 58th St., New York, NY 10019.
