Miriam Weiss, 95, of South Brunswick died Feb. 4, 2013. Born in Poland, she came to the U.S. in 1923 and resided in New York. She also lived in New Brunswick, Highland Park, and the Covered Bridge section of Manalapan, before moving to South Brunswick in 2004.
Mrs. Weiss was a seamstress for Brooks in New Brunswick, and most recently, Larae Shop in Freehold. She was also a member of Workman’s Circle.
Predeceased by her husband, Nathan J. Weiss, she is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Winter of West Windsor, and her son, Murray Weiss of Arizona; her brother, Eddie Ober of Florida; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 6 with arrangements by The Crabiel Home for Funerals, Milltown.
