Miriam Lyons-Kragen
Miriam Lyons-Kragen, 92, a lifelong South Orange resident, died Nov. 1, 2017.
For many years Lyons-Kragen was the director of The Milton School in Millburn.
She received a B.A. from Pembroke College (now Brown University), and had master’s degrees from Seton Hall University and Kean University.
Predeceased by her husbands, David Lyons and Arthur Kragen, she is survived by two daughters, Susanne Kass of Hagerstown, Md., and Amy Slochower of Gladwyne, Pa.; her son, Jim Lyons of Hoboken; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Private services were held. Memorial contributions may be made to Kass Scholarship Fund, Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
