Miriam Gordon, 87, of Brooklyn died Dec. 3, 2012. She lived in Brooklyn for the past 11 years.
Rebbitzen Gordon was the wife of the late Rabbi Sholom B. Gordon, religious leader of Congregation Ahavath Zion of Newark and Maplewood.
She is survived by three sons, Rabbis Joshua, Yossi, and Mendel; four daughters, Yocheved Baitelman, Chanie Friedman, Bluma Rivkin, and Frumie Posner; two sisters, Krainy Rosenfeld and Esther Goldman; two brothers, Rabbis Sholom Simpson and Leib Simpson; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 5 with arrangements by Shomrei Hadas Chapel, Brooklyn.
