Mina Laskey (Yohalem), 91, of Marlton died May 19, 2017. Born in Queens, she moved to New Jersey in 1954, residing in West Orange before moving to Marlton in 1998.
Mrs. Laskey earned a B.A. from New York University by taking courses at night while working full time. After her husband’s death, she went back to work full time. She retired in 1998.
She was president of the West Orange League Women Voters and was a member and eventually president of the West Orange Board of Education.
Predeceased by her husband, Herb, she is survived by two sons, Jim (Mary Jacobson) and John (Kimberly); five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Private services were held with arrangements by Platt Memorial Chapels, Cherry Hill; a memorial service will be held at a later date.
