Mina Drossman

Mina Low Drossman, 95, of Verona died Nov. 11, 2012. Born in Austria, she came to the United States in 1928 and originally settled in New York City. She then resided in Irvington and West Orange before moving to Verona in 1967.

Mrs. Drossman was employed for several years by the West Orange Board of Education.

She earned a bachelor’s degree from Hunter College and was a graduate of the Jewish Theological Seminary.

She was active in the sisterhood of B’nai Shalom, West Orange, and the West Orange PTA, where she served as president.

Predeceased by her husband, David, she is survived by her daughter, Sue Pearlman of Verona; her son, Ken of North Caldwell; and six grandchildren.

Services were held Nov. 12 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
