Mildred Schrier

Mildred Schrier, 86, of Toms River died Oct. 24, 2011. She lived for many years in Jackson.

Mrs. Schrier worked for many years as a bookkeeper and office manager for Wilco in Lakewood.

An active member of the community, in Jackson, she was involved with PTA, as a Girl Scout leader, and with Congregation Ahavat Shalom of Lakewood and its sisterhood. She was a member of Hadassah and Women’s American ORT. She volunteered at Kimball Medical Center. At Lake Ridge in Toms River, she participated in many committees.

Predeceased by her husband, Fred, in 1996, she is survived by two daughters Sheryl Miller and Susan Barnes; her sister, Sylvia Goldman; and four grandchildren.

Services were held Oct. 26 with arrangements by Belkoff-Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Lakewood. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society or Alzheimer’s Association.
