Mildred Lutzky

Mildred “Mimi” Lutzky (Sternberg), 88, of Edison died June 22, 2018. Born in Manhattan, she lived in Brooklyn before moving to Edison 33 years ago.

Mrs. Lutzky worked for the New York City Department of Welfare with a caseload in all five boroughs.

She graduated from Brooklyn College with a B.A. in sociology.

She was a member of Flatbush Park Jewish Center in Brooklyn from 1965 to 1985, and a lifetime member of Hadassah. She volunteered at Yeshivah of Flatbush for many years while her children attended school there.

She was a member of Highland Park Conservative Temple-Congregation Anshe Emeth since 1985, and a former member of JCC of Middlesex County.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Raymond; her son, Barry (Judy); her daughter, Amy (Howard Rothschild); and two grandchildren.

Services were held June 24 with arrangements by Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Edison.
