Mildred Grossman (Rosenbaum), 94, of Little Egg Harbor died April 19, 2015. She grew up in Elizabeth and lived in Jersey City before moving to Union and then Little Egg Harbor 11 years ago. She also spent summers with her family in Bradley Beach.
Mrs. Grossman was a bookkeeper. In her later years, she was the owner and proprietor of Uhlen’s Card Shop in Paterson. She also worked in New York City as office manager at an office supply company for Toshiba.
She graduated from Battin High School in Elizabeth in 1939 and attended business school in Newark.
She was active in her synagogue in Union. She remained active with mah jongg and bridge until about a year ago.
Predeceased by her husband, Sol, in 1976, and her daughter, Ruth, in 2013, she is survived by her son, Jay Stuart; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and -nephews.
Services were held April 21 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
