Mildred Budin
Mildred Budin (Adler), 96, of South Orange died Jan. 27, 2018. Born in Jersey City, she resided in Elizabeth, Maplewood, and Bricktown before moving to South Orange 12 years ago.
During World War II, Mrs. Budin worked as a secretary for the Quarter Master of the U.S. Army in Jersey City. Later in 1961, she was employed at the YMHA in Elizabeth. She also worked at her husband’s family business, a deli and liquor store in South Orange.
Predeceased by her husband, Elijah, in 2007, she is survived by her son, Arnold (Wendy) of South Orange; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Services were held Jan. 29 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel, South Orange.
