Mikvah Chana annual gala
Melissa Ben-Ishay, the founder of Baked by Melissa, is keynote speaker at the Women’s Annual Gala on May 20.
HUNDREDS OF women and girls are expected to attend the Women’s Annual Gala on Monday, May 20, at the Westminster Hotel in Livingston. The annual fund-raiser for Livingston’s Mikvah Chana features a buffet dinner, auction, and motivational speakers.
Melissa Ben-Ishay, the founder of Baked by Melissa, a New York City chain of mini cupcakes, macaroons, and other treats, is the keynote speaker.
Also speaking is Rebbetzin Goldie Plotkin, co-director of Chabad of Markham in Thornhill, Ontario, and founder of its Torah Tots pre-school.
Mikvah Chana serves thousands of women throughout northern New Jersey. The mikvah, ritual bath, is dedicated in memory of Chana Annette Felsen.
