Mikhail Zernitsky
Mikhail Zernitsky, 88, of Newark died July 9, 2014. Born in Russia, he was a Holocaust survivor who came to the United States in 1980 and resided in Livingston before moving to Newark.
Mr. Zernitsky was a member of Temple Beth Shalom in Livingston.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lyubov (Rodkina); three daughters, Alla Glaz of Livingston, Lidya (Alexander) of Parsippany, and Mira (Boris) of Brooklyn; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held July 10 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, Washington, DC; or The Yakov Glaz Cancer Fund at St. Barnabas Medical Center Foundation, West Orange.
