Michael Paul Rose, 67, of Livingston died May 10, 2019. Born in Worcester, Mass., he lived in Boston and Parsippany before moving to Livingston in 1979.
Since 1983, Mr. Rose was the owner of D&S Check Cashing in Newark.
He earned a B.S. in pharmaceutical science from Northeastern University, Boston.
He was a member of Temple B’nai Abraham, and was also on the board of trustees of Cedar Hill Country Club, both of Livingston.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie (Pokross); his daughter, Alison Turen of Tenafly; his son, Matthew Rose of Bloomfield; and two grandchildren.
Services were held May 13 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Barnabas Cancer Center, Livingston; or Michael Rose Scholarship Fund at The Blair Beinhaker Friendship Foundation, 20 South St., Morristown, N.J. 07960.
