Michael Paul Gold, 60, of Chester died May 16, 2011. Born in Newark, he grew up in Livingston and West Orange and lived in Chester for the past 22 years.
Dr. Gold had a private chiropractic practice in Livingston for the past 25 years, and was Carlos Santana’s visiting chiropractor.
He attended West Orange High School, Ohio State University, and Sherman College of Chiropractic in South Carolina.
He was a member of Temple B’nai Abraham in Livingston and Temple B’nai Or in Morristown.
He is survived by his former wife, Gail Sigman Gold; two children, Jonathan T. and Taylor E.; his mother, Florence Gold of Livingston; two stepdaughters, Alexis Poe Feder and Schari Poe Mangano; and three grandchildren.
Private services were held with arrangements by William J. Leber Funeral Home, Chester. Memorial donations may be made to the Ruth and Stanley Sigman Music Fund, c/o Temple Sholom of West Essex, Cedar Grove.
