Meyer Denes
Meyer Denes, 89, of Edison died Aug. 3, 2011. Born and raised in Newark, he lived in Union for 45 years before moving to Edison three years ago.
Mr. Denes was the owner and longtime partner of a window cleaning and maintenance company that served customers in Newark and the surrounding areas.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Rosalind (Buchsbaum); three sons, Michael of Edison, Richard of Cedar Grove, and Jay of New York City; and two grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 4 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
