MetroWest marketing wins Ad Club awards
The Marketing and Communications Department of United Jewish Communities of MetroWest NJ won four awards at the NJ Ad Club’s 44th annual Jersey Awards dinner last week in Weehawken.
Two first-place awards were given for the full-page newspaper ad “Stand Up For Peace” and for the direct mail piece “Does Your Matzah Ball Sink or Swim.” A second-place award went to the Young Leadership Division T-shirt, “I Upped Mine,” and the e-mail blast “Martini Mingle” garnered a third-place award.
Graphic designer Melissa Simon designed all four pieces; Sherry S. Kirschenbaum wrote the copy for the direct-mail piece. Shelley Labiner is UJC MetroWest’s chief marketing officer.
“It is very gratifying to be recognized by professionals in the marketing/advertising industry,” said Labiner. “A dedicated team of professionals put a lot of thought and effort into every project with an eye toward creative excellence and achieving our goals. Beyond the award-winning items we have dozens of projects of which we can be proud.”
The largest organization of its kind in New Jersey, the NJ Ad Club receives hundreds of submissions in multiple categories, primarily from for-profit advertising and marketing agencies throughout the state.
