Merwin Fuchs
Merwin A. Fuchs of Springfield died Aug. 26, 2013. He was born in Syracuse, NY, and grew up in Elizabeth, later raising his family in Livingston.
Mr. Fuchs retired as a stockbroker for Lehman Brothers.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his life companion, Joan Heller; his son, Philip (Barbara); his daughter Deborah (Doyle) Williams; his stepchildren, Gwenn and Anthony DellaPelle, Cary and Ileen Heller, and Scott and Freddi Heller; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Services were held Aug. 28 with arrangements by Higgins and Bonner Funeral Echo Lake Funeral Home, Westfield. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Daughters of Israel in West Orange.
