JEWISH FAMILY SERVICE of Central NJ, a nonsectarian health and social service agency based in Elizabeth, has received a grant from the Union County Division on Planning to provide a meals-on-wheels home delivery service for disabled individuals who are under age 59.

To qualify, clients must be residents of Union County with an annual income not exceeding $42,000 and disabled due to an acute injury or a chronic medical or emotional illness.

The meals, which are kosher, are delivered five days a week. Participants do not need to observe kashrut.
