Maurice Ingber

Maurice (“Maury”) Ellis Ingber, 88, of Freehold died June 30, 2019. He was born in Trenton.

Mr. Ingber had a 31-year career at Bristol-Myers Squibb in quality control, drug regulatory affairs, and worldwide safety and surveillance.

He received his bachelor of science degree from Bucknell University in 1952, and took graduate courses at Hahnemann Medical College, Rutgers University, and New York University School of Law.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, retiring as a lieutenant.

He served as president of Beth El Synagogue in East Windsor and the Douglass College Parents Association at Rutgers University, cubmaster of the Webelos Pack in Hightstown, and president of the Pine Grove Manor Cooperative Apartments in Franklin Township and the Boca Chase Community in Boca Raton, Fla.

Predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Jessie (Goldstein), he is survived by his son, Lawrence (Dania); two daughters, Rachel (Ira Port) and Laura (Robert Butcher); a brother, Jack; two grandsons; four step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.

Services were held in Boca Raton.
