Mary Ellen Freed and Seymour Freed
Mary Ellen Freed (Spence), 81, of Union died Dec. 29, 2015. Her husband of 50 years, Seymour Bernhard Freed, 93, died eight days later, on Jan. 6, 2016.
The couple is survived by three sons, Daniel of Basking Ridge, David of Newark, Del., and Theodore of Collingswood; Mrs. Freed’s son, Ken (Seymour’s stepson) of Pennsylvania; daughters-in-law Jennifer and Katrina; and a granddaughter. Mr. Freed is also survived by a sister, Rhoda of Florida.
Services for Mrs. Freed were held Dec. 31; services for Mr. Freed were held Jan. 10, both with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
