Marvin Chaimovich
Marvin “Mickey” Chaimovich, 80, of Lake Worth, Fla., died July 27, 2014. He was born and raised in Newark and later lived in Union and Old Bridge before moving to Lake Worth 15 years ago.
Mr. Chaimovich retired after a career as a sales representative of J. Levin & Company, a wholesale hardware firm.
He graduated from Weequahic High School, Newark.
After high school he was drafted into the Army and served in Germany.
Predeceased by his first wife, Sandra Liebenhaut Chaimovich, he is survived by his wife, Barbara; his daughter, Pamela (Wayne) Cuda; two sons, Barry (Jody) and Daniel (Deana); his stepchildren, Susan Lerner (Arthur Sachs) and David (Darcy) Lerner; two sisters, Harriet Neal and Ella Cohen; and eight grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 1 with arrangements by Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Edison. Memorial contributions may be made to Amyloidosis Foundation, Inc., 7151 N. Main St., Suite 2, Clarkston, MI 48346.
