Martin Wendruff

Martin Wendruff, 92, of Monroe Township died Dec. 13, 2011. Born in Manhattan, he resided in West Orange before moving to Monroe 26 years ago.

Prior to retiring, Mr. Wendruff was a homebuilder and master plumber and served as a plumbing inspector for the State of New Jersey.

An Army veteran, he served from 1942 to 1944 as chief radar operator.

He was a TV cameraman for WCLC Concordia TV.

Predeceased by his wife, Selma Posner Wendruff, in 2008, he is survived by four daughters, Carol Wendruff of Bloomfield, Linda Rosen of Great Falls, Va., Ellen Wendruff of Malden, Mass., and Debra Wendruff of Weehawken; and five grandchildren.

Services were held Dec. 18 with arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick.
