Martin L. Gillman
Martin L. Gillman, 82, of West Orange died May 30, 2011. Born in Brooklyn, he previously lived in Livingston.
Mr. Gillman graduated from Brooklyn College and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He became an accountant, and spent most of his career as a stockbroker and investment adviser. He was a partner at the firm Dreskin, Gillman & Granet, from which he retired.
Mr. Gillman was a longtime member of Temple Emanu-El, Livingston.
He is survived by his wife, Rayna; four sons, Jonathan Gillman of Boston, Ross Gillman of New York, Todd Gillman of Bethesda, Md., and Jeremy Kleiman of Ridgewood; two daughters, Hilary Kurzer of Wayne and Jessica Kleiman of Brooklyn; and 10 grandchildren.
Services were held June 1 with arrangements made by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial donations may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, New York, NY.
