Martin Goldberg

Martin I. Goldberg, 78, of Dover died Dec. 21, 2011. He resided in Dover for more than 50 years.

Mr. Goldberg retired in 2004 as the owner of the Approved Ladder Company of Mt. Freedom for over 50 years.

He was a veteran of the Korean War (Army Corporal) and served as the former post commander of the JWV Wolfert Levinson Post # 689.

A member of Knights of Pythias, he was also a former president of the Dover Jewish Center, where he was elected Man of the Year.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sonya; two sons, Jeffrey and Mark; his daughter, Karen Pampalone; and three grandchildren.

Services were held Dec. 23 with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels of Dover. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Freedom Jewish Center.
