Marshall Sherman
Marshall Sherman, 75, of Springfield died July 2, 2017. He was born in the Bronx and was a longtime resident of Short Hills.
Mr. Sherman served as president of Temple B’nai Jeshurun in Short Hills, president of the New Jersey chapter of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, and chairman of the Parent’s Council at Washington University in St. Louis and the Charles T. King Student Loan Fund at Millburn High School.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Renee; three daughters, Robin (Andrew) Shainberg of Short Hills, Suzanne (Kevin) Kaplan of New York City, and Stefani (David) Alcosser of Short Hills; a brother, Howard of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and five grandchildren.
Services were held July 5 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple B’nai Jeshurun, Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation-New Jersey Chapter, or St. Barnabas Medical Center Development Department (designated to Cancer Center).
