Mark Beckelman
Mark Beckelman of Springfield died July 5, 2011. Born in Trenton, he grew up in Yardley, Pa.
Mr. Beckelman’s lifetime work and love was photography, specializing in Photoshop, about which he taught and wrote.
He graduated from Pennsbury High School, Pennsylvania; attended Ithaca College, New York; and graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology, New York.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Stanger Beckelman; a son, Scott of New York City; a daughter, Lindsey of Hoboken; his father, Robert of Yardley; his brother, John of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and his sister, Barbara of Portland, Maine.
Services were held July 7 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to the New York University Melanoma Research Fund, c/o Dr. Anna C. Pavlick, NYU Clinical Cancer Center, New York.
