Marilyn Neiman, 88, of Levittown, Pa., died Oct. 1, 2018.
Mrs. Neiman was one of the founders of Hope for the Animals (HFA), begun in 1985 and once the largest cat and dog rescue organization in Bucks County. Despite being blind, she served as the group’s president for 23 years, until 2008, when she retired due to declining health.
Predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Herb, in December 2017, she is survived by her daughter, Yvonne Neiman; a brother, Jack Kohn; and her pets, which included a cat and dog.
