Marian Schipper
Marian Carol Schipper (Shapiro), 90, of Edgewater died March 30, 2017. Born in New York City, she also had lived in Cranford and Morristown.
Mrs. Schipper was a retired professor of education at Jersey City State College.
Predeceased by her husbands, Eugene A. Hausman and Edgar Schipper, she is survived by her daughter, Amy Hausman of Glenwood Springs, Colo.; her son, Gary Hausman of New York City; and two grandchildren.
Services were held April 9 with arrangements by Eden Memorial Chapels, Fort Lee. Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Poverty Law Center or Planned Parenthood.
