Marian Liebermann
Marian Glattauer Liebermann, 101, of Newton, Mass., died Dec. 28, 2018. Born in Vienna, in 1938 she managed to escape from Austria and was allowed into England where she met her husband, Hans (John) Liebermann, who had also fled from Austria. They married and lived in Wolverhampton, England, before immigrating in 1949 to Columbus, Ohio. She moved to Newton in 2004.
Predeceased by her husband in 1982, Mrs. Liebermann is survived by two daughters, Carol (Leonard) Ellman of Newton and Frankie (Mark) Busch of North Brunswick; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 31 with arrangements by Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, New Brunswick.
