Margaret Katz
Margaret “Peggy” Katz (Finkel), 84, of Monroe Township died Jan. 17, 2015. Born in Elizabeth, she raised her family in Cranford, subsequently residing in Warren and Monroe. She spent her winters in Delray Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Katz retired 20 years ago after working in the Fund Raising Department at Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside.
Predeceased by her husband, Stanley, she is survived by two daughters, Janice (Bruce) Alban of Cranford and Audrey (Robert) Fish of Auburn, Calif.; two sons, Alan of Monroe and Michael of Bethlehem, Pa.; a brother, Paul Finkel of Livingston; and four grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 21 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to benefit rare cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York City.
