Marcus H. Berman, 58, of Alexandria, Va., died April 1, 2014. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Verona before moving to Alexandria 30 years ago.
He graduated from Verona High School and received a BA from Alfred University and a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling from Michigan State University.
He was a longtime member of Agudas Achim in Alexandria. He was involved with the Toastmasters.
Predeceased by his mother, Rose, he is survived by his wife, Kathy Roller; his father, Sidney; his brother, Simeon; and two nieces, Abby and Sara Berman.
Services were held April 6 with arrangements by Jewish Memorial Chapel, Clifton.
