Malcolm Mason

Malcolm “Mickey” Mason, 98, of Palm Beach, Fla., died Aug. 15, 2017. Born in Paterson in 1919, he lived in Livingston and then Palm Beach, initially during the winters and later full time.

Mr. Mason was a real estate agent in Palm Beach for 30 years. With his son Jimmy he owned Wayne Answering Service.

He graduated from Lafayette College in 1939.

He was a member of Mountain Ridge Country Club, West Caldwell. He was a board member of Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel, South Orange.

Predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Mona Fiber, he is survived by two sons, James and Jeffrey; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter.

Services were held in Carlisle, Fla., in September; a memorial service will be held Oct. 29 at 2 p.m. at the temple, to which memorial contributions may be made; for shiva information, call 973-763-4116.
