Louis Lazovick, 98, of Manalapan died Sept. 8, 2011. He was born in New York City and lived in Yonkers, NY, for 26 years before moving to Manalapan 30 years ago.
Mr. Lazovick was an accountant for the New York State Division of Taxation and Finance in New York City for 40 years before retiring in 1977.
He was an active member of B’nai B’rith in Yonkers and Manalapan. He was a volunteer at CentraState Medical Center and volunteered his financial expertise at the Covered Bridge II office.
Predeceased by his wife, Adele, in 2000, and his son, Steven, in 1955, he is survived by his daughter, Helene Schwartz of West Orange; a sister, Minna Rothman of Boca Raton, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.
Services were held Sept. 9 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean.
