Louis F. Zuckerman
Louis F. Zuckerman, 84, of Union died Oct. 5, 2010. He lived in Newark and Belleville before moving to Union 56 years ago.
Mr. Zuckerman worked at Belleville High School in business administration and as a teacher, assistant guidance director, and guidance counselor at Millburn High School. He also was the owner of Camp Len-How in Mt. Freedom and Nicholson, Pa.
He graduated from Belleville High School in 1943 and received a BS from Rutgers College in 1948 and a MS from Montclair State College in 1953.
He was a former member of Temple Israel and Congregation Beth Shalom, Union. He was a lifetime member of the National Education Association and NJ Education Association, and served as a former president of the Millburn Education Association.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly C. (Gerber); his son, Howard of Edison; his daughter, Amy Bunin of Edison; and four grandchildren.
Services were held Oct. 6 with arrangements by Goldstein Funeral Home, Edison. Memorial contributions may be made to City of Hope, attn: Edison chapter (Diabetes Research), Philadelphia.
