Loretta Siegel
Loretta Siegel (Nerensky), 92, of Whippany died April 20, 2014. Born and raised in Irvington, she resided in Livingston for 35 years until moving to Marlboro in 1987, and later Boynton Beach, Fla. She moved back to New Jersey in 2007.
Mrs. Siegel and her late husband, Joseph A., established Jay’s Exterminating in 1966.
She graduated from Irvington High School.
She was a founding member of Temple Beth Shalom in Livingston, and remained active in several synagogues, Yiddish clubs, and Jewish groups in New Jersey and Florida.
Predeceased by her husband in 2007 and her daughter, Barbara Anne Stempler, she is survived by her son, Daniel (Barbara Jean) of Randolph; a sister, Ruth Nelson of Florida; four grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
Services were held April 22 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
