Lorayn “Lori” Fischman (Seifer), 89, of Sinking Spring, Pa., formerly of New Jersey, died June 8, 2017. She was born in Newark.
Mrs. Fischman was a legal secretary and homemaker.
She was also an artist who worked with water colors, pastels, and ceramics.
At age 35, she decided to attend college at Montclair University, graduating magna cum laude with a degree in English literature.
She was a life member of Hadassah and a member of First Mountain Crafters Association.
Predeceased by a grandson, Scott Davidson, she is survived by her husband of 68 years, Arthur; three daughters, Sheryl Cook (David) Lawrence of Shillington, Pa., Lisa (Ronald) Heflin of New Market, Md., and Ilene Fischman of Robesonia, Pa.; a grandson; a great-grandson; and her sister-in-law, Phyllis Fischman of Sinking Spring.
Arrangements were handled by Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory, Sinking Spring.
